FIRENZE EVO \u2013 Where Traditional Design meets Modern Lighting Technology<\/span><\/h3>\n

With the FIRENZE EVO, AEC Illuminazione reinterprets the traditional Florentine lantern, combining historic aesthetics with modern LED technology. The luminaire has been specifically designed for illuminating historic city centres, public squares, as well as urban streets and pathways. However, its retro appearance might misleadingly suggest that the luminaire relies on outdated technology. In fact, a closer examination of the FIRENZE EVO reveals a highly advanced and carefully engineered lighting solution concealed behind its traditional design.<\/p>\n

One of the key features of the FIRENZE EVO is its range of seven available light distributions, including six asymmetric and one symmetric optic. These enable precise, application-specific illumination of different traffic areas and public spaces. The optimised arrangement of the optical system minimises unwanted shadows cast by the lantern structure. Combined with various side screens designed to limit unwanted light emissions, this results in a highly configurable luminaire whose light distribution can be tailored to the specific requirements of each urban environment.<\/p>\n

In addition to various available colour temperatures, the FIRENZE EVO optionally features Tunable White technology, allowing the colour temperature to be dynamically adjusted between 2200 K and 3000 K. This Smart Technology<\/em> is complemented by DALI control and Zhaga interfaces.<\/p>\n

Sustainability is another important aspect of the FIRENZE EVO, with Amber (2200 K) and optional Tunable White technology. The environmental impact throughout the product’s entire life cycle has been assessed through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). According to the manufacturer, independent verification for an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is already underway. Furthermore, the luminaire’s robust construction and tool-free access facilitate maintenance and support long-term operation.<\/p>\n
