With STORY, AEC Illuminazione combines the traditional shape of a four-sided lantern with modern LED technology. Whether in historic city centres, public squares or modern residential areas, its understated design blends naturally into a wide range of urban environments. However, its true strength lies in its lighting technology, specifically designed to meet different requirements for visual comfort and functional illumination.
Two Optical Systems
STORY offers two fundamentally different optical systems: HYPER COMFORT and TRIO.
- HYPER COMFORT: Diffuse light distribution combined with satin glass to reduce luminance and unwanted glare. Particularly suitable for public spaces and pedestrian areas.
- TRIO: A modular optical system featuring various light distributions for precise and efficient street lighting.
This allows the lighting characteristics to be adapted to specific project requirements while maintaining a consistent luminaire design.
Versatility in Planning and Installation
The mounting and control options are also designed to accommodate a wide range of project requirements:
- Mounting: Post-top, wall bracket or suspended installation
- Lighting control: DALI, automatic and individually configurable dimming profiles
- Integration: Optional Zhaga and NEMA interfaces for integration into connected lighting systems
Designed for Long-Term Performance
The powder-coated aluminium housing, IP66 protection rating and IK08 impact resistance provide a solid foundation for reliable outdoor operation. With a specified lifetime of over 100,000 hours (L90B10) and removable optical and control gear assemblies, maintenance requirements have also been carefully considered.
